Do I need Cisco VPN Client?

I'm getting ready to set up a connection to my office. We already have VPN set up at office, and I'm being told I need the Cisco VPN Client. I thought somewhere I read that I can make the VPN connection through my WRT54G (I'm running HyperWRT2.1b1 + Thibor 14). Does anyone have any idea if I can connect directly from my WRT to the office VPN instead of using the Cisco client going _through_ my box??

Yes you can make the connection through your router, but your computer will be acting as the vpn endpoint and will need the cisco vpn client, assuming your work is running a cisco vpn concentrator.
