Has anyone tried or adapted these scripts on Tomato with any luck?

In my case, and I believe in most cases, dual WAN isn't really necessary to have a failover connection. Most modems have router and switch built into them so the main router (WAN static could be connected to the primary modems LAN (static and the secondary modem LAN (static could also be connected to the primary modems LAN. (Or an external switch could be used.) When the primary connection is down the main router would just have to change its static gateway - and possibly DNS and bandwidth limits for QOS.

If I ever had dual wans I would probably just buy a dual-wan capable firebox off eBay for like $10... Then you can configure load balancing and such..
