I have a Linksys E900 router and I'm trying to connect to a wired network that uses TTLS/PEAP authentication.

I've been searching the internet for how-tos for quite a while and the best approximation I've found is this: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=107300. Yeah, I noticed this tutorial is meant for OpenWRT, but I've googled some more and found that you can install a package manager on Tomato as well, which I did (yes, that includes getting myself some persistant network storage) and continued to follow the tutorial (with modifications I assumed were needed, such as using different directories). I've managed to follow the tutorial up until the 5th step, which is where I get stuck as there seems to be no suitable driver or interface (vlan2 interface appears to be the closest match for WAN port) for wpa_supplicant to run.

Any help on how to get wpa_supplicant to do its job would be extremely welcome.

OpenWRT is not an option as [OpenWRT] has no drivers for the wireless core of my router.

I have the same problem on my RT-N16 with Shibby's Tomato build. Any guidance on how to install wpa_supplicant would be great.
