    My NSLU2 with standard firmware (V3.R24) runs fine but I now have connected a FAT32 formatted USB Stick to port 2. Also works fine but:

    - both a Windows XP and a Windows ME when connected to the FLASH share, tell me the drive is NTFS formatted;

    - all file and directory names created on the USB stick connected to the NSLU2 are all in uppercase only.

    Disconnecting the USB stick and using it directly to a PC also shows that all files created on it are uppercase but new files written to it using the PC have the proper case...

    This does not happen with the harddisk connected to port 1 (EXT3 formatted).

    Weird. Anyone a clue?

    This may be something specific to R24? When I bought mine, I immediately upgraded to R25 before using it and then R63 when it became available. A USB drive on it has always shown upper and lower case file names.
