    Is this possible with Tomato?

The reason I'm asking is that it seems that my ISP might require it so that I can host and be connectable. It is an option that's available on the DGTeam firmware. I think DGTeam is also linux based, so does anyone know if Tomato supports this?

This is what it does - taken from the DGTeam firmware:

Force broadcast ARP on the wan link

It forces sending broadcast arp packets over the wan link. It should be activated only in case of frequent routing losses from ISP provider. Leave it disabled in the other cases.

DGT has an ADSL WAN port, so will not be the same with a Tomato router with Ethernet WAN port. Arp is required between devices connected via Ethernet, it links IP address with MAC address, for any communication to take place the tables need to be kept up to date, and this should be done automatically. Do you need some kind of pppoe keepalive, by pinging the gateway?
