Polarcloud doesn't have it on the website anymore and I would like to flash it to a friend's router.

why not flash to v1.15? v1.11 would be outdated and included security flaws.

I've been experiencing the "Random Reboot" issues that some others have also had.
    I had them with .13 & .14...I haven't tried 1.15, maybe I should.

I got problems with internet dropping randomly.
So if someone still got the 1.11 firmware, upload it please. :)

The stability of tomato has gone downhill lately. I wouldn't suggest people to upgrade their firmware from 1.0x to present. I am still using 1.07.x and I see no reason to update, and I refuse too based on too many bug reports.

The security flaw is nothing as long as you don't surf website while you are configuraing in router.

Mine is stable with 1.15. Been up for 21 days without a reboot or drop.

can you confirm your WRT54G is dropping the connection rather than your cable/dsl modem?

when it drops is the internet light on your modem?

That's quite amazing since it was not publicly available 21 days ago. You get an early beta?

Not lucky. Been this way since I started using Tomato when it was version 1.07. I have never had any issues severe enough that raised a red flag causing me to be concerned. To say that the stability has gone down hill is a little extreme because everyone does not use the firmware the same as the next person. Each has a tweak here and there that another uses or doesn't use.

When I used DD-WRT there wasn't a day that didn't go by when I had to reset, reboot or reinstall just to get the router to work. So to me Tomato is a little slice of heaven.

The version I have is what was posted here on 1-17-2008 @ 12:54am. Installed it and never messed with it again. I have cronic back pain from blown discs so I don't sleep that often giving me nothing to do but surf the net and visit these forums. You can believe me or not, I really don't care. I know what I did, when I did it and that's all that matters.

    PEACE :)

Haha that was when v14 was posted, the thread got renamed some 10 days later when the bugfix v15 was put out instead (would have been better to have locked the old ranting thread and started a new one IMHO!)

    V15 was Posted: 27 Jan 2008 09:37 PM CST, I got a copy on 28th.

I installed mine on the 28th and if it wasn't for my ISP going down last weekend, I would have the same uptime bragging rights as the best of them. I have never had to reboot except for when I flash a new version. If the ISP has issues, I will reboot the router before calling them as they will insist on a reboot anyway.

Well then I have been running for 11 days rather than 21, sorry my mistake. I am wrong and I will admit I am wrong. The point is is that I have not experienced any reboots or drops.

v 1.11 is simply the best. Uptime is over 2 months. I use the roadkill's modded version. No security flaws, no glitches, no slow-downs, no reboots.
v 1.14 has some stability issues.
v 1.15 is not modded yet.

    v1.11 + roadkill = long and healthy life :)

    Same here.

u3gyxap, where is the above mentioned firmware (v1.11+roadkill)? I just simply...want it.

All the Tomato versions since 1.11 (the version that I used since starting to use Tomato) are stable for me. Sometimes I thought a version was unstable for me, but that's only because I was lazy to perform a NVRAM thorough reset. Thus everytime I encountered an unstable issue, I went on to do a NVRAM thorough reset and it worked as stable as a rock for me! :)

Good for you. I did that too, just that it didn't solve anything. Though my setup is far more complicated than a regular router setup.
    Anyhow, enough off-topic :)
