I have two VPN routers and wish to creat a Gateway to Gateway VPN tunnel between them. But they are unable to connect. The DynDNS entries work because both myself and the LinkSys tech support have been able to remotely manage them using the DynDNS addess. The routers need to be configured as follows: RV082 - static IP address RV042 - DynDNS address If I configure both routers with Static IP addresses the connection is successful. If I configure the RV082 router with a dynamic IP address and the RV042 with a Static IP address the connection is successful. But the moment the RV042 is configured to use a DynDNS address the tunnel can't connect. When configured this way, the RV082 VPN summary screen shows "N/A" in the Tunnel Test box. If I test the tunnel from the RV042 it waits for about 10s and then doesn't connect. They have told me to upgrade the firmware so many times it's not funny. Sometimes even telling me to use old firmware and telling me it's a beta. Currently: RV082 - Firmware Version: 220.127.116.11 RV04 2 - Firmware Version: 18.104.22.168 I might spend an hour or two on the phone and then the call gets disconnected and I have to start all over again. It's just not good customer service. :cry: Any help would be appreciated.
