    Hello all!

Just a little background first. I have been messing with these wonderful wrt54g/gs' for a while now and I must say I love them. I finally found out that you could load different firmware on them about a year or so ago. When I did upgrade my main router at that time I used thibor and hyperwrt. I eventually started messing with WDS and the such. I had on all my WDS nodes dd-wrt (especially the v5 wrt54g I have as that is the only thing besides stock firmware that will fit on it). About 3 weeks ago my main router started acting ape nuts (was running early version of thibor and a P2P program..... not good unless oyu up the max ports). The router would start dropping the internet connection and kept updating my DDNS even if it didn't need to be done. This caused issues between the DDNS host and myself. To remedy this I switched to my wrt54gs v1 loaded with dd-wrt v23 sp2. Welllllllll, this led to multiple random reboots of the router for some reason. So I post on the dd-wrt forum and to this day have still gotten NO response. Approximately 8 days ago I re flashed the wrt54gs v1 with tomato 1.04. I have had ZERO problems with it since then. No random reboots, WDS is solid as a rock, all the features are there and easily accessible, just an all around EXCELLENT firmware. I really do like the graphical bandwidth usage also. And in light of the recent issues with users with the Comcast "unlimited" internet the logs come in handy.

There are a few things I would love to see in Tomato like a version for the v5+ wrt54g router but for now that dd-wrt is doing ok. Just seems to freak out when you put a WAN connection on it.

Overall I am ecstatic. I love my 'mater-ized router. (yes I am from the southern states of the US  ) I just hate that I am moving tonight and will lose my uptime that I have gained so far. lol
