Does anyone here on the forums attach heatsinks to the broadcom chip in the router.

My last Netgear router became erratic due to the broadcom chip overheating. After I discovered the problem was overheating, I then stuck a heatsink on the chip and cut holes in the router case. These measures increased the Netgear router uptime to a few days, instead of hours.

I recently bought the WRT54G v5 router and noticed that there were no heatsinks on any of the chips inside, and would like to know if anyone has had any overheating problems.
