I'm trying to copy two large files (13Gb and 16Gb) to a NLSU2 Ver 2.3R24 with a Maxtor OneTouch II 200Gb drive.

    The NSLU2 reports Disk1: 191 253 Mb (100%) free

I can copy hundres og megabytes of smaller files to the drive, but once I try to copy the two large files I get a 'not enough space on disk' error.

    Is this a known problem?

please note that it is not a 'lost connection' problem, it just won't start the copy process. If you have a clue or a tip, please comment asap, as I'm really stuck. Thanks a lot ;-)

Did you format the drive in FAT32? Because FAT32 has a maximum file size limit of 4GB. You'll get the 'not enough disk space' error, even tough there is still enough space left on the disk. The maximum file size for NTFS and ext3 is in the terrabyte range.
