    Hi all.

I have a WRT54GS which I have bridged wirelessly with my other router.
I made both router to be in the same network
    (R1 = - R2

and it worked fine both routers connected but i read a few forums and from the experiance I had it was running slow and apparently if you put them on diffrent network and route them together it would work faster.

    so what i did was

    (R1 = - R2 =

abviously they stopped communicating and Router(2) ? (I think) needed a route command but I do not know what the Destination and gateways and interfaces will be.

Could some one please help me??

I have also did a quick mockup of my network if it makes life easier.

    Thank you

I don't think that would be helpful in speed. but if you wanna test it , do this. Setup R1 wireless mode to client and input R2 ssid and psa key, and then setup wan mode to static and assign a ip in the same subnet as R2 lan like In addition, make sure checking that dhcp relay box.
