    Hi Guys

It's probably a simple question but it's got me absolutely stumped so I'm hoping for some help.

Basically I've just had ADSL connected and have a Dlink-302G ADSL Modem as well as a Linksys WRT54GS Router (with hyperwrt firmware).

I have the linksys all setup from a previous install with static dhcp, port forwarding etc which I would like it to continue to handle. I can set the Dlink to bridge mode (do absolutely nothing in settings but this) and plug it into the WAN port on the Linksys set the linksys to PPPOE and I'm up and running no problems.

However what I really want to be able to do is use the Dlink to do the logging in as it has PPPOA which is recommended by everyone for my provider.

This brings me to where I get stuck. I set the Dlink to login via PPPOA which it does fine (can surf net if I connect a pc straight into the dlink) and I then plug it into the Linksys WAN port. I then disable the PPPOE function to the Linksys and thats about as far as I get. I have tried changing the Dlinks IP from to to match the Linksys but it didn't seem to make a difference. I have also had a muck around with the Gateway/Router setting on the Linksys but it doesn't seem to make a difference either.

So in summary I'm hoping someone can guide me on the best way to have the Dlink doing the logging onto the internet via PPPOA which then connects into my Linksys which will be the dhcp server, firewall etc

    Thanks in advance
