Hi I have a modem router WAG354G working well (DSL).
    version : 1.01.54

I try to connect a second one as an access point but it does not work ! (it work when the ethernet cable is plug in).

    I need it wireless ! ?

    Any idea ?

    Many thanks

It's not possible because a WAG354G doesn't support WDS (Wireless Distribution System).

The onlyone Linksys gateway supporting WDS is WAG54G 1.2 with 1.02.7 and above firmware...

Thanks for the answer. I can go to sleep now then !!

but it's a pitty as it is written on the box that it has 3 functions: modem adsl, router and wireless access point !!!

I will then buy a WRE or a WAP54( but really big,...)

Not sure at all the WRE works with WAG354G !
    You have to test before...

WRT and WAP are the best solution for WDS link...

Thanks AGAIN ! the WRE does not do it either !!!

    I am now thinking of a bridge WET54G or WGA54G ???

It is in fact to connect a SAT decoder,... to the internet...

Do you confirm ? idea ?
