Help!!! How can I reformat an external HDD that was used on the NSLU2 back to FAT32 or NTFS so that Windows will recognize? It's useless to me except through the NSLU2. Will the new firmware accomplish that?

I am trying to do the same thing. I installed the firmware Version 2.3 Release 63, tried to reformat the drive and it fails. I tried installing IFS Drivers to read the drive through Windows as suggested elsewhere, but the drives still cannot be recognized. If anyone can assit, it would be appreciated.

I found the following driver at:

Once installed, the drives were recognized. I assigned drive letters which isn't necessary. This driver showed the drives listed in Windows Disk Management. I deleted each partition, created 1 new partition and formatted it with NTFS. The drive was recognized by the NSLU2 as NTFS format and also recognized by Windows.
