    I have juste upgrade my WRT54G v2 with the DD-WRT v23.
Before, I have done a backup of the actual configuration of my router.

Now, I'd like to "restore" the old config. I tried to edit the backup file but I can't check anything because it's a binary file.

So, is it possible to edit this file in order to get all old params ?

I hesitate to restore this backup file via router's dd-wrt web interface...

If you upgraded from a previous version of V23 or another 3rd party firmware, do not restore the the back up.

Unless you are upgrading from a very recent DD-WRT build or recovering from a long re-boot, you could brick your WRT.
