HyperWRT 2.0 FINAL has been released.

Changes in HyperWRT 2.0 are :
    - Removed concurrent connection & tcp timeout patch (caused instability on certain wrt54g(s) hardware)
    - Added some useful busybox utils

You can download HyperWRT for WRT54G and WRT54GS at

Work for 2.1, with the new linksys firmware, is in progress and may be expected soon ;)

All, except WRT54G V3.0 and WRT54G V2.0 which are not for sale yet.
But flashing those with HyperWRT 2.0 would most likely work too (as the hardware is the same).

So how many concurrent connections are available in the final release? And how many is the Linksys default?

    According to the changelog:

"Increased maximum concurrent connections from 1024 to 4096"

Edit: The above was for an older beta firmware. The recently released 2.0 does not have it.

I'm brand new to the forum and really like the HyperWRT 2.0 version
My laptop wireless (Linksys) adapter saw an immediate boost in signal strength. I was averaging Good to Very Good (max 67%) signal strength, now I'm getting a consistent 80% (excellent) signal.

    Nice work, thanks........
