I have never used a hyperwrt firmware
so I am not sure as to what features it adds
    vis-a-vis the alchemy firmware.

Will it add wiireless AP , client mode , etc ?

Please post as details as possible or send
    me the links.

    Thanks in advance

    From the HyperWRT website.

HyperWRT has these added features :

Adjustable Transmit Power & Antenna Select
    13 Wireless Channels
    'Boot Wait' flash protection
Increased Port Forwarding & Triggering Fields
Increased Qos Device & Application Fields
Increased Access Restrictions Policies & Blocked Services Fields
    Command Shell
    Telnet Daemon
    Startup & Firewall Scripts

It does not add Client Mode.

There is a thread on WDS on this website:

    Not quite true....

Client mode works fine as does WDS mode. There is no pretty web interface to set these up, you must do it via telnet or build startup scripts for it.

The telnet option opens up MANY of the commands which allow many other uses. Other third party firmwares have built web pages around these commands to give added functionality.

There needs to be a simple set of clear instructions on how to configure client mode, its not clear.
