HyperWRT GSv4 Thibor14 newbie question help please

    hello all,
    i have a wrt54gsv4 running HyperWRT GSv4 Thibor14, :cheer: :clap: :cheering: :thumb: :rockon: :thumbup:

    very very good firmware,

    i just have one question please, in the incoming logs of the router i see many port scans and other things that are denied/blocked

    i have kerio 2.15 running too is there anyway i can report them scans i am getting or i can get the logs of the router some how please....

    i am sorry if this is a noob question but i am quite new to all this internet stuff so,, :rockon: :rockon: :rockon: :rockon:

    any help would be great ,

    In the Administration->Log page, the syslog address is the address of a machine that is sent all the logging details. If you run WallWatcher or some equivalent program on that machine, it will capture the logs on that machine.

    As for what to do with them: probably the majority of port probes are coming from virus-infected or otherwise hacked machines. You will get frustrated very quickly trying to report them, both by the difficulty in figuring out who to report to, and by the lack of response you will then receive.

    Better to just smile and realize that these probes are not even getting an indication of your machine's _existance_.
