OK let me first start out like all the other new people....

I am new to this whole wifi thing and I have questions that no one seems to care to take the time to answer, but i am going to ask again anyway!

I have 2 WRT's currently working in AP mode using WDS with Satori.

    1. I know WDS cuts throughput in half, does client mode do the same?

    2. Does mac filtering work in both WDS and Client mode and I am assuming the filtering is done by the main router? Which mac address are need to enter in the filtering (ie. wireless mac's, etc).

    3. My understanding is that WPA does not work in repeater ( AP) mode, does it work in client mode.

Thanks in advance to all who help me out!!

No, the second WRT is acting as a client just like if you connected to the main WRT with a wireless card in your PC, so no performance hit.
As you can not connect to the second WRT as a wireless client, I assume the only interesting place to do MAC filtering is on the main WRT.
As the second WRT is just another wireless client and does not use WDS, I would assume WPA works with Satori.

No, but I suggest you change the subject line so that we know what your question is about. Or do you expect everybody to open your posts only to find out that they cannot contribute?
