i just upgraded firmware to hyperwrt and......

    it`s works good :) tranmit power is 50 mw this is the defualt setting that linksys uses? because the pc down stairs is still recieving a low signal ? whats the best highest setting ? so i don`t damaged or fry my wifi router?

    and another question how do i get wake on lan ? i want that the pc at auto starts if its gets an wol packet? can someone tell me how to do this? thxx

    For your second question, maybe the AP Watchdog setting in the administration tab might be helpful.

    "AP Watchdog
    The AP Watchdog enables a timer that will check to see if any clients are connected in the interval seconds given. If no clients are attached, the watchdog assumes the AP needs to be reset. When clients are connected this reset will not occur. The watchdog is intended for situations where the AP becomes unavailable due to interference or internal chip problems."

    AP watchdog is a Satori firmware feature not hyperwrt

    low singal @ other pc

    hi, there is something strange... on my pc thats close on the router have`s exellent signal but pc 2 thats down stairs @ the first floor i have low signal, so i upgraded firmware to hyperwrt with succes, i set tranmit to 84 dw but still recieving low signal ? i suspect the siemens a2 gigaset BUT i mailed siemend and they claim that it doesn`t disturb my router signal
