I have 2 wrt54gs hardwired to get better coverage. Both use same SSID, different channels. What is the easiest way to tell which 54g I am connected at any give time.

Each router's MAC Address will differ. If your wireless client software displays MAC Address of the connected AP, e.g., Intel's PRO/Wireless client, you should be able to identify to which AP you are connected.

Good point! That's also software dependent, e.g., Intel PRO/Wireless client will also show the channel used by the connected AP.
