I am using two WRT54g , wired together via lan ports for extended coverage. DHCP is off on Router 2. Is there a way that I can tell which router the wireless user came in on. Will MAC filtering work on Router 2? Will MAC filtering on Router 1 control MACs from Router 2? Should the Router 2 be setup as a router or a gateway? Any help on any part of the setup would be greatly appreciated.

MAC Address Filtering should work on router 2, but I think the function will be independent on each unit. I think the only way is to check out the clients connected wirelessly through the MAC Address Filtering function.
