I am using Tomato on two WRT54GL routers in a WDS setup. Each router is on the opposite end of my condo, probably 30-40 feet apart, but through multiple walls.

I've noticed on the Device List page, it's showing the client router at around 33/100 on quality, and -66 dBm on RSSI.

Are there any software or hardware (antenna) options that will improve this?

Would picking a channel other than 6 help out? The Tomato survey says there are quite a few channel 6 networks being detected...

Any other ideas for helping the signal strength issue?

Seems like you have no replies, so here's mine! Your router is showing -66dBm meaning that it is a rock solid signal and anything you do to improve it isn't going to make any difference to the connection speed.

If you have a lot of signals on 6, of course you should change to either 1 or 11, whichever is clearest.
