Informal poll: Is anyone interested in repeater/repeater bridge mode?

    Just to be clear I don't know how to do this. :) I am just wondering who's interested in this for tomato? For those that don't know, this allows a router to receive a wireless signal on the WAN and repeat it. For example, you could connect with the router wirelessly to another network and then setup your own lan to use it with multiple devices. For example, router connects to a hotel wireless network and then your devices connect to the router.

    It's already doable in Tomato.

    It's the same as flashing a mutliple VLAN build, putting the router in client mode bridge, setting up a virtual wireless AP, and bridging it to wireless client LAN.

    And you could have the repeater have the same SSID as the 'main' router's SSID, but it's not recommended, even DD-WRT states that in the wiki.

    Can you provide some more detail on how to set this up? Is this all done on the advanced>virtual wireless page?
