I just bought a e2000 and have it connected to my fairly old 2wire modem/router. I've had it for a couple days only and today I just got a message from the 2wire modem telling me of excessive internet usage on the computer connected to it through the ethernet cable. I was able to log into tomato to see settings and all but couldn't connect to any websites even though it said I was connected to the network properly. I know for some linksys routers (maybe all) you need to turn your 2wire modem to bridge mode or else it won't work. I didn't have to do this with tomato, should I try it though? I tried doing this with a wrt54gl (setting modem to bridge mode) and it still wouldn't work, so I don't know if it will do anything for this. I don't know what to do to fix this. Why would it say that my computer has been using excessive internet? I never had this problem before. Do I have to increase the limit of internet connections the modem can receive some how or decrease the amount of connections the e2000 router can make?
