I have my WRT54GL in my office, which is also a spare bedroom.
Would be helpful if I could turn off all the lights on the WRT54GL at night.
Is this possible? If so, could someone provide a sample script?
    I'm running Tomato 1.10

    Many thanks in advance

Semi transparent tape to dim the lights, black electrical tape to turn it off, or a less permanent solution, an ornament placed in front of the router to turn off the lights, and take it away, the lights are back on, duh?? :-O

I'm pretty sure at least some of the lights are hard-wired, ethernet lights in particular.

Some of the LEDs can be manipulated via GPIOs and startup scripts, but not all of them, however it is way more trouble than it is worth. The safest, most reliable method is the solution I stated above. Buffalo routers in particular the WHR-HP-G54 has LEDs on the back, making them less distracting at night.

If you ARE REALLY bent on manipulating the GPIOs go to this link:

You're right. I've put it on the windowsill, behind the curtains.
