I have a WRT54GL with Tomato v1.25 and I would like to allow an easier way to allow someone visiting my home to logon to my network for internet access.

I've seen where some networks ask for an id and password. Currently, I must provide a key which is ok if they can enter it as a response to the network's request instead of going into their device and configuring it.

Is there a way to create logon accounts in tomato?

victek has been working on a captive portal. this usually works via an unsecured public wifi network that redirects your browsing attempts to a webpage that asks for a web login before you can use any network services.

but since this victek feller is a lazy ass :D, you might want to take a look at dd-wrt, they have something like that implemented if i don't remember incorrectly.
