Any luck with building jac5 so far? Anyway I've got another question for you jac.

Is there a way to add a automount feature to your firmware or as a standalone add-on? The problem is I need to manually unmount my DVD drive before the drive opens and needs to be done trough a shell session every time. I work with the files listed in nas200_usbcdrom.tgz if you need some background information about the issue.

Ps. If you wonder why? I'am to lazy to log on to a shell everytime before i can change the DVD disk

I have to admit I haven't worked on the NAS200 firmware since the beginning of this year... You can go to www.twitter.com/jacgoudsmit to see what I've been working on instead.

Automount should be possible although I'm not sure what is needed. It looks like there is one that doesn't require kernel support. Note that if you find anything that uses sysfs to detect whether a disc is in the drive, the kernel supports sysfs but it's just not mounted.

It would be great if you could find the time for Jac5 to make Twonkey Server 5.1.x work with the NAS200 :)
