I've noticed in several of the branches/heads (not too familiar with git terminology) there is an K26: IPV6 Mini build for 4mb routers. I was able to get it to build myself and I also modified the Makefile to include CIFS support rather then remove it. The resulting binary appears to be fine in terms of size. However given that I have no real idea what i'm doing in terms of embedded development and I don't have a jtag setup in case I mess something up I was curious if anyone has tested this build? The closest pre done build I was able to find was here: http://tomato.groov.pl/K26/build5x-042-EN/ but its only MIPSR2 and my WRT160N V1 needs MIPSR1.

version mini is a special build only for netgear`s router, because image std is too lange.

Use simple "std" build. You can also use Tomato k2.4. Those builds have also ipv6 support.

Are you sure about that? The features matrix on tomatousb.org http://tomatousb.org/doc:build-features-cross-reference shows IPV6 in specific K26 builds only. I've tried tomatousb std-nousb and Victek 'Tomato Firmware RAF1.28.8602 MIPSR1_RAF K26 Std' and Neither have USB support.

Is this something you added into your builds? Reading the Makefile IPV6 only appears to be added into specific builds (VPN/EXT & IPV6 Mini). If you want to provide me a link to one of your MIPSR1 firmwares I would give it a shot.

I should also add that in several (but not all the heads), there are two mini builds one labeled for net gear and one labeled IPV6 Mini.
