I am using 012.net.il service provider in Israel.

LT2P: I find that when I connect using L2TP it disconnects after a short amount of time, and it doesn't manage to reconnect without me manually clicking the connect button. It has keep alive checked with a 30 second timeout. I ended up switching it to PPTP instead.

PPTP: When I choose save settings using PPTP it complains of invalid settings. I am using DHCP, and I filled in the gateway server address, my username which is name@IKzahav, and password. The funny thing is that the system seems to save the settings and the invalid message doesn't stop it from working.

Other than that I am loving this firmware,

Thanks a lot for all of the great work,

I am experiencing the exact same problem with zahav.net.il service provider in Israel.

I noticed that when i use PPTP, even though it throws the error message regarding invalid settings, it still sets the connection to PPTP mode, and i connect via the Status page.
However, when using PPTP the connection seems to be working extremely slow.

    Any ideas?

try using l2tp in tomato it worked for me (cables),
dd-wrt and hyperwrt don't connect in israel (out of the box) using l2tp.

What do you mean by "use l2tp in tomato"? what's "tomato"?

Tomato is another 3rd party firmware.

I am using a service provider in France.

And I have the same problem than nachumk . I am using L2TP it disconnects after a short amount of time (5min), and it doesn't manage to reconnect without reboot the router, (connect and renew button do not work)

    I am running with Tomato v1.13 and a WRT54GL v1.1

    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot,
