I just purchased a WRT54GS v2.0 / BCM5325EKQM Chipset and connected everything fine. I'm getting great speed to the internet but when I try to access network files on my other PC (ie. - picture files) it transfers very slowly or hangs and says program not responding. Any ideas on what to check, I've disabled the firewall, etc. Sometimes it works fine, usually the first try but each subsequent attempt to access a file gets slow or doesn't work at all. Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated before I return the router to try another one.

Thanks in advance for your help.

First of all I dont think this is a issue with the router b'coz the job of a router is to take u online thro' a private address. It is not concerned with the internal n/w. U did not mention that is this issue faced on wireless computer or wired ones.If u face this issue on a wireless transmission try upgrading the firmware on router --link u want help regarding the upgrade u can contact linksys tech online help --
