My linksys phone adapter (PAP2) has an ethernet port to hook into a router. I have access to a wireless router but only through the wireless ports. I have a wireless laptop. When I go to Second Cup and they have Free wireless access, I want to be able to use my Linksys phone adapter. Is it possible, and how, to hookup my Linksys Phone adapter to my computer through a wire and then communicate to the wireless adapter through my laptop and have my Linksys adapter hooked up to the internet and hence receiving my calls ?

I guess that this would be the same scenario as having a computer with a normal wired ethernet card and wiring it to my laptop and my laptop hooks up the the wireless router through its wireless adapter and having access to the internet on my non-wireless pc. Its like setting up a proxy server or a gateway with my wireless laptop !!
