    Hi guys,

since it's quite some time ago since I bought my last router (WRT54G) I'm not really up to date any longer.

Can someone of you provide me a linke to a test / comparison or provide a short overview himself on the two routers listed above?

..the main difference I found myself so fare was the max theoretical wirless speed (300 vs. 450), but there must be much more, as model E4200 is double the price...!?

    best regards

The E4200 has the addition of the USB port so you can connect a USB drive and has a stronger signal. I had both and the E4200 with the latest firmware has better coverage and throughput if you are using 802.11N clients. To get 450Mbs you have to have a three antenna wirelass 802.11N wireless NIC and there are only three available and none are from Linsksys. There is one Intel internal minicard for laptop, one Trendnet USB adapter and a Trendnet media adapter.
