My friend and I both play BF2 on my internet connection. Basically, two client computers playing through a WRT54 Linksys Router. I've got a 1mb connection, so bandwidth is not an issue up or down.

Here's the problem. Once we both join the same server, both connections go to hell at the same time. If only one computer is in the game, no problem, I can play all day without any lag. OR, both computers can be in different games and no problem. But once we both join the same server.. BAM!! Connection-hell.

I've done all I can do with port forwarding to no avail. Honestly, I don't think port forwarding does anything for client-side. I've also edited the short-cut executable for both machines to look like the following, to no avail.

    Computer One c:\game\bf2\bf2.exe +port 16668

    Computer Two c:\games\bf2\bf2.exe +port 16669

I'm stumped, but I am suspicious that BF2 Punkbuster sees the same IP for both of my PCs and this causes connectiveity issues.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
