    Ok, there it goes...

I have a Wired LAN, it uses a ISA server computer to share internet, this machine is a stand alone server (no domain), serves IP address to client computers (DHCP Server) and resolves names to IP address (DNS Server).

Now I want to add some wireless clients to the lan, but i want those wireless clients to access internet via the ISA Server.

I tried to connect them with a WRT54GL (Linksys firmware) pluged to the LAN Switch, configured some stuff and they can surf the web but they cant use IRC among other stuff.

Of course, the WRT54GL is not a proxy client or firewall client so it seems that it is working in SecureNAT mode to the ISA Server.

Can anyone help me, what should I do to get this thing working??

Is the router in Gateway mode or Router mode?

Choose the correct working mode. Keep the default setting, Gateway, if the Router is hosting your network’s connection to the Internet (Gateway mode is recommended for most users). Select Router if the Router exists on a network with other routers.

The linksys is in Gateway mode, I've tried Router mode but it did'nt work, I dont know if I should set something else in addition to router mode, remember that the ISA Server blocks everything but proxy and firewall connections
