Hi, I would like to log connections from ip in internet to ip in my lan. Now I'm using wallwatcher but to log for 24h my computer must be on for all the time  Is it possible to log small files automatically to ram and after getting predetermind size it would be sent to ftp or on mail and deleted. The new file would be made and so on... Maybe someone know how to do it?

This has been asked before, but Tomato doesn't have a mail client. You could add one using jfffs. I have a 100k version of msmtp that works with password protected smtp servers, (but my version doesn't yet work with gmail which would be better), but other firmwares have mini_sendmail or smtpclient which are only 10 or 20k.

I think the script to send the messages.o file would be fairly easy, as long as you don't log too much!

The only thing I want to log are connections between ip in net and ip in lan. It would be very nice if you could make a script and tell me what should I do :halo:

It's wonderful to see activity from Jon. It would be so great if he could add some mini_sendmail or something to the firmware. I know people are concerned about keeping tomato lean and mean, and I agree, but adding this sendmail feature could be quite useful, and aside from the slight increase in Firmware size, shouldn't take up any extra memory or processing power if it's not being used.

    At least we can hope..
