    Hello All,
I have a question about Mac address filtering. I am in a wireless networking class at school, and we have been assigned to get Mac address filtering up and running. I understand that Mac address filtering is not strong security. This is just an assignment that has been given to us.

My problem is this: we got to the wireless Mac filter tab and entered in our Mac addresses. Saved the settings. Every one connected, and all worked fine. Then it was discovered that someone forgot to add a Mac address. I figured OK, we'll just go back and add another one to the list. Get back to the list and there are no Mac addresses listed anymore, and everyone lost connection. My question is this, are you not able to add additional Mac addresses to the list, or do we have to go in and add each Mac address back to the list? Am I doing something wrong here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Generally you can add and remove mac's on the fly with no issue. However i have not used the WAP so i cannot say for sure with this device it could me i flaw with the firmware and you may have to keep inputting them all everytime you need a change.
