For some reason the MAC addresses are wrong after flashing my 2nd WRT54GS. Both the LAN and wireless are the same so I followed the instructions on Scorpiontek's guide and changed them using --

nvram set et0macaddr=(mac on bottom of router)
nvram set il0macaddr=(mac on bottom of router + 1)
    nvram commit

and also for good measure I set the wireless MAC with --

    nvram set wl0_hwaddr=00:XX:XX:XX:XX

    nvram commit

However although it all looked like it had worked, nothing changed! Still both the same MAC so what did I do wrong?

Quick update, just to make sure the commands were actually working, I changed the MACs to something totally different. I also changed the wireless MAC also. Result is this --

    Wireless MAC

Why won't the wireless MAC do what I want it to do!!

OK so here is what happens. Total reset of router and MACs now appear as they should. Try WDS again and the wireless MAC changes to that of the LAN(?) Revert it back to no WDS and the wireless MAC goes back to it's correct value (1 up from the LAN MAC) so what is going on here? Would a reflash of DD-WRT help or is this what is supposed to happen? Either way it won't work under WDS!
