I have both WRT54G (used as AP and hub, router disabled)
also I have WAP54G (may be used as repeater)
however, due to wireless internet (wifi) will be available in barracks area, and I'd like to make WAP54G as wireless ethernet bridge (wifi>LAN, not AP client mode)
I have checked the manual, I think the official Linky firmware do not have this function
then I am interested in 3rd party firmware, then which one is for me?
I'd prefer to leave WRT intact

I have a brigde build with two wap54g. 25 clients are using the connection daily.

You have to put in the mac-addresses where you choose the brigdemode. Select same frequency.

The brigde does not require to have ip-adresses in the same ip-area range.
