Another post about a possibly broken wireless card I was given.

This one's a WPC54Gv1.2, a CardBus PC Card 802.11g NIC. It's detected fine under Windows, but barely gets a signal if at all and the 2 LEDs don't light up. The former owner had abused the card a bit, getting the antenna snagged constantly while removing the notebook in which it was installed in and out of a backpack. The antenna cover is busted and comes off, but the circuit board itself isn't bent or broken. However, it looks like there may be a surface mounted resistor/capacitor or two missing, right where this is what appears to be the on-board antenna traces.

As far as I can tell, with the antenna held up top and the topside of the card facing you, up to 3 components on the upper left corner are missing. Their places are silkscreened C150, C152, and R71, so a pair of capacitors and a resistor, maybe.

Anyone got an open WPC54Gv1.2 or one with the antenna cover loose and can send me a photo or tell me if these places do actually carry components? I can include a photo of mine, if it helps.
