I had my NSLU2 working pretty well...

Then I powered it down and moved it to the location I wanted to have it "permanently" installed.

Now my NTFS drive does not appear. The EXt3 is still OK.

    I have NTFS on disk2 and etx3 on disk1.

    What could have gone wrong?
    All connections have been checked.
Drive works OK when in USB direct connection.
Power is OK, but doesn't show on network OR admin web page.
Doesn't seem to flash the HDD LED on the NTFS like it did before.
Almost like it was not recognized.

try to restart your NSLU. I often have this probleme when the HDD does not start fast enough, the NSLU does not see it.
When the HDD has been started, then NSLYU should see it.

    Missing drive

    Thanks -

In the case I originally wrote about, I found that I had switched the USB cables for disk 1 and 2 and that the NTFS drive was on the port that won't support NTFS. Still, my 500GB NTFS disk does drop out once in a while for the reason you stated - spinup.
