Hello, I can see that many members here complained about the lack of iptables ... -j TTL --ttl-set/inc/dec functionality. I have tried to add it, unfortunately without luck... So, what i'm talking about: I downloaded the firmware from Linksys and after that - replaced the appropriate files with these from HyperWRT. After that, i've downloaded patch-o-matic-20030107 from netfilter.org and applied only the TTL patch. After that - i was able to use the CONFIG_IP_NF_TARGET_TTL option during the compilation. The compile process was fine, but the result is the same as before: iptables -t mangle -A PREROUTING -i ppp0 -j TTL --ttl-set 10 iptables v1.2.7a: Unknown arg `--ttl-set' I'm not netfilter specialist, but i know that TTL is an EXTRA EXTENSION TARGET. Are there any other requirements when i want to use such a type of target with iptables? I've tried compiling TTL both as module and inside the kernel itself, but with the same luck. With the Alchemy from Sveasoft the command works fine... Any ideas, pls?
