I'm planning to take my core router back to the official release for several reasons. The main one is that the DHCP server keeps dying at night, which is a pain.

Is there anything that I should know about flashing back to the original firmware? Are their any gotchas that would brick the router?

also, has anyone looked at the leaked beta drivers from linksys? Are they any good?

That is a strange problem. Maybe you could give some more info so people could help you solve it. DD-WRT is a great improvement over the Linksys! If it is a legit bug, you could help solve it. If it is just a config error then you could keep all of the cool features.

As for going back to the original firmware, it is probably best to set all of the settings back to "Firmware Default" before flashing.
