    Hi all!

I recently started configuring wireless security without SES on my WRT54GS with my laptop using a WPC54GS. I am using WPA2 Personal AES. My problem is that whenever I reboot the laptop or it is turned off for a while I have to reconnect to the WRT and re-enter the shared key manually. I don't know if it matters but I even have my SSID broadcast enabled.

Why is this? Is there any way I can get it to stick?

Well, I guess I'll just answer my own question. :)

While the solution seems obvious someone else might run into this. What I was doing each time I rebooted was to go into the Linksys applet on the laptop, click the Profiles tab, then click the Connect button, at which point I would be prompted for the shared key. However, if you instead click on Edit instead of Connect and run through the wizard to enter the shared key, it stays entered and my wireless connection is not broken on subsequent reboots.
