NAS 200 with 2 drives

    I have run NAS200 with 2 separate drives for more than 6 months, one 1TB [bay 2] the other 500GB [bay 1], today disk 1TB [bay 2] failed, I was not able to get to it, it showed as not installed, I switched the drives and the 1TB which was in bay 2, now in bay 1, worked and the 500 GB now in bay 2, failed, it appeared as not installed.

    I waited 1 hour and now both disk drives are green all the time and I am not able to access nothing via my browser.

    I been told that this is a hardware issue, how do I go about trying to fix my NAS200?

    Unfortunately there's not much you can do about hardware problems.

    If it's still under warranty, you should take it back to the store where you bought it.

    You can contact Cisco tech support at +1-800-326-7114. They also have a live chat feature if you prefer to explain your problem that way: click here and then click on the live chat link on the right. I'm sure they have more answers to your problem than anyone else: I kinda expect that they will let you mail your NAS in under RMA and they will repair it, either under warranty or for a price, and will mail it back to you. It may take a long time before you get your NAS back, and it may cost you. It may even turn out to be cheaper to just get another one from eBay...
