Having finally decided that my WAG54G router/modem is about as useful as an inflatable frying pan, I've decided to ditch it. Prefrably breaking it into as small parts as necessary during the ditching process....

Anyway, I've been looking for a new wireless router, and everyone seems fairly happy with the WRT54GS routers, but then I realised a slightly stupidly obvious problem - I won't have a modem.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should replace my heap of junk of a WAG54GS?

Quick note as to what I will be using it for - general browsing and a lot of high bandwidth media content/games. For example movies and World of Warcraft, so something that overheats at the sign of a megabyte is unhelpful :) Also the 2 computers (a laptop and my pc) both have cards with Speedbooster technology, so something that utilizes that may be handy.

    Thanks a billion everyone.

If you need range, Linksys is NOT what you are looking for. If you need stability you may choose any Linksys product that fits you. Keep in mind that linksys needs a very good ventilation.
