So I have a WRT54G v1.0 router, and have had no problems with it since i bought it when they first came out. I plugged it in when I got back to school after break, and for some reason, the link lights on the first port are always active (with or without a cable plugged in). Plugging a cable into any of the other ports activates the lights like usual, but the first port seems "stuck" on. Basically, I turn off dchp and use the router as a wireless hub for my laptop and a nat for my desktop to keep myself clean on campus. But, after turning off dhcp and plugging into the campus network, I can connect to the router fine, but get no ip from the school.

    Here's what I've tried:
I can get into the setup page with no problems and the wireless side seems to be working fine. I don't have my desktop with me yet to test the wired switch however. The first thing I did was update the firmware to the latest version, but to no avail.

My first inclination is that my router is fried, but any help would be appreciated!
