    Hello everyone. I have recently acquired 2 WRT54GS linksys routers. I am attempting to create a WDS connection between them. The reason I want to do this is so I can use the second router as a repeater to extend my wireless network across my house. So, essentially, the connection will be:
    Wan -> WRT54GS (a) -> WRT54G (b) -> mixed wireless G and B devices in my household.

    The problem is that my ISP, optimum online, requires me to clone the mac address of the particular modem I'm using to connect online. So, for the moment, WRT54GS (a) has the mac address of my modem, and b has its own mac address.

    I have tried following the suggestions and hints written on this guide for my routers; I recently flashed both with the latest 2.1 beta version of HyperWRT. I am rather inexperienced at configuring networks, so details would be extremely appreciated.

    Did you already read this HyperWRT WDS ?

    There exists a detailed WDS howto with screenshots, but it refers to DD-WRT.
