I have a Linksys WTR54G router that I have configured with WEP 128bit security. I have two laptops that share this network wirelessly. One has a centrino chip and the other has a DWL 650+ dlink wireless adapter. When I right click on the centrino and view the network connections it shows the network that I'm connected to. However the other using the wireless adapter will not show the network that it is connected to. Is there something I need to change on the wireless adapter or is it just the difference in the centrino vs the b adapter that is in the other laptop? Any help would be appreciated.

first of all make sure that your router is in mixed mode. Secondly you have to either configure the dlink software that came with the adapter with the settings for the network, or you have to bypass it and use windows configuration under the network adapters menu.
