well i had some problems with my BEFSR41 v3, and i had the 1.05.03 firmware (with turned out to be a beta firmware itself :S (it was on the router by default :S), any how, i mailed the support persons from linksys.com and they mailed me the latest Firmware for the BEFSR41 v3

so if you wanna try it out... be my guest....

Has anyone ever had their BEFSR41 router's DHCP Server exploited?

Once upon a time, I was doing maintenance on my Router's Config (i.e. 192.168.blah.blah) & noticed several *unknown* Hostnames & IPs. Turns out there was a DHCP Server flaw within one of the recent firmware-releases... can't remember if it was 1.05.03 or whatever.

Has anyone noticed any differences between THIS beta & the last version of firmware?

I just applied this Beta Firmware & it has made a significant-improvement to my Router's (BEFSR41 v3) performance.

I don't think anyone's noticed that you can specifiy a few *new* parameters such as WAP Connection Type (10Base Half/Full, 100Base Half/Full) and Filter IDENT Port 113. Those are the only new parameters I've seen so far.
